capturing the love you’ve created

so this is love?

so this is love?

To me photographs are more then just photos to post on social media. They are the details that you notice about your loved one, the inflections in your laugh, and the love that feels impossible to try to describe but can only be seen or felt. None of us know what tomorrow brings, life can change in an instant and we are left to try to remember how we felt the day, month, or year before. Photography to me is documenting the moments we hope to never forget.

Hi,my name is LAuren ashley

But my friends call me LA. I am couples, family, and portrait photographer based out of Phoenix, Arizona, but I am originally from University Place, Washington. Growing up in the Pacific Northwest I fell in love with the ocean & the sun. My biggest inspiration in photography is the relationships that create memories we always want to look back on. I always aspire to have my photos feel like the love you feel for your loved one, like sunshine hitting your skin while watching the sunset.

A little about me:

  1. My love of photography started by the realization that capturing the way I see people could make them feel beautiful. My goal as a photographer is to show you the beauty that everyone around you sees.

  2. Taylor Swift and ice cream are two of my favorite things EVER.

  3. I live in lululemon and athleisure and I love to workout. Whitney Simmons is my girl.

  4. My aesthetic and favorite inspiration in nature is the sunset and the beautiful pastel colors it brings to our lives. I love anything pastel (especially pink) and you won’t often find me in neutrals.

  5. My husband is pursuing his dream of getting on the PGA tour. So golf is pretty big part of my life. I am his biggest cheerleader and love to watch him play.

  6. Relationships and friendships along with Jesus are the most important thing to me. I would do anything for my loved ones. I always want everyone to feel loved, heard, and understood.
