Nolan reached out to me before this past holiday season to plan a surprise proposal for his then girlfriend Kennedy. When first moving to Denver their first hike was at Dream Lake and he knew that this is where he saw himself getting down on one knee. As the weeks went on we chatted about the details, the set up, and timing and mid January the time had finally arrived!

I hoped on a flight to Denver and arrived in a winter wonderland. Kennedy knew that we were taking photos and so had brought a beautiful spring dress even though the temperature and wind was quite chilly she was determined to wear it for at least a few photos. As Nolan went to go grab the ring I took some portraits of Kennedy and then asked her to turn around, only her to find Nolan on one knee behind her.

This beautiful moment will forever live in my memory and I was so honored to be a part of it.
