Chris and Sarah are newly weds and wanted to capture some memories of how young and in love this first year of marriage has felt. Through out the day we talked about how their love has changed since getting married and we found it interesting to try and describe how the feeling and depth of love has only become greater at every step. Chris described this love for Sarah as the feeling of unbreakable bond that nothing could separate, a closeness that you think you feel in engagement but only becomes stronger as you navigate through new obstacles and new beginnings.

Denver was one of those new beginnings for this couple. Chris and Sarah are originally from Issaquah & Gig Harbor, Washington and made the move for a job offer Sarah had actually already accepted before they had even began dating (precovid). They met at Gonzaga University as they both pursued their masters. This session truly was an adventure. The first location we had decided on ended up being covered in half melted snow and we weren’t super excited about the aesthetic. So we decided to take a risk and switch locations mid shoot to try to find somewhere that still gave us the backdrop of the beautiful Colorado mountain range. Chris and Sarah made this such a fun experience and we ended up finding the perfect spot to capture their love.

These soft and romantic shots authentically capture this moment in their relationship as newly weds.
